Pittsburgh Veterans Transitional Housing Program

The Alliance of Male Empowerment Network (AMEN), Inc., is partnering with EX Properties and The King's Community Center to provide The Pittsburgh Veterans Transitional Housing Program. This residential housing program is designed to facilitate a process of social, mental, spiritual, and financial increase for US Veterans. Veterans of this program will receive services that are integrated to help them achieve a foundation of stability and self-sufficiency. The wrap-around services offered, during their time of stay, are strength-based and trauma informed. Each person receives a level of customization within the process in order to best serve their individual needs for growth.

The transitional housing program - located in the Hill District, Schenley Heights - provides a two-year temporary place of residence, along with a concentration of supportive services, to help veterans achieve self-sufficiency and permanent housing. The program also assists residents with finding permanent housing upon completion of their program experience. For more info, contact Jonathan Backers at amenofpa@gmail.com or by calling 412-559-7120.
